Paws In Service is a grass roots project of Abbi’s Barkery, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization in Franklin, KY. Our mission is to save the lives of shelter dogs through adoption, pair them with disabled Veterans or children suffering from seizure disorders and train them to be service dogs for their owners at no cost to the individuals.

Shelter Dogs at Simpson County Animal Shelter ready for Adoption

Adoption saves Lives. So many beautiful, trusting dogs deserving of forever homes with humans that will love and care for them forever are waiting to go home from the Simpson County animal shelter. They will love their humans right back – forever!

Please consider adoption or if you can’t adopt, you can sponsor a dog for adoption, volunteer time walking dogs at your local shelter and/or can make a monetary donation. Municipal shelters are operating with minimal funding, not enough community support and are generally understaffed. They can use all of our help for the animals that find themselves in their care.
